What You Bring REQUIRED • High school diploma/GED or equivalent technical training; OSHA 30• 5+ years installing/programming low-voltage structured cable and ESS• 3+ years as Lead Installation Technician or comparable field leader• Experience leading $100K+ low-voltage projects in new construction• Hands-on CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection experience• Read/interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents• Strong low-voltage/structured cabling knowledge; leadership and crew coordination• Troubleshooting, critical thinking, organization, communication, and independent work• Microsoft 365; confidentiality; valid driver’s license/reliable transportation• Up to 50% regional travel; ability to obtain government clearance• Successful background, drug, and DMV screening PREFERRED • American Dynamics, Software House, or similar platform experience/certifications• Federal government project or agency experience• Military technical or leadership experience• Experience coordinating multiple construction trades• Additional ESS, low-voltage, networking, or structured cable certifications Who Thrives at Trofholz Successful Field Engineers take ownership of their work, communicate clearly, lead by example, and help keep their teams and projects moving forward.
