A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or equivalent and 24 Units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE or Child Development (CD), and a minimum of 6 months paid experience working with children. Under the direction of the Child Care Site Supervisor, this position helps create a safe, positive, and supportive environment while contributing to daily program operations, staff training, special activities, and program recordkeeping.
