The successful candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial motor vehicle operations, applicable safety regulations, vehicle inspection procedures, defensive driving practices, and the skills necessary to prepare students for successful completion of CDL training and licensing requirements. Demonstrate and evaluate proper vehicle control, backing maneuvers, coupling and uncoupling procedures, turning, shifting, braking, lane positioning, and other required driving skills.
