POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the Facilities Manager and the Director of Facilities Operations, the Maintenance Technician II plays a key role on our Facilities team, performing skilled mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance across SVA's campus buildings while helping guide and support fellow technicians. Performs carpentry and painting work (e.g, repairing furniture, preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, replacing floor tiles, carpet tiles, ceiling tiles, etc.
