The unit provides specialized structural heart support and comprehensive interdisciplinary services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretaries, and interpretation services. • Care for patients with myocardial infarction, primary arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery, vascular surgery, coronary artery disease, heart failure, pre/post cath lab procedures, and stroke patients with cardiac involvement.
