In this role, you will:Assist with completing daily service requests for residentsSupport the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgradesPerform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeepWork closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projectsHelp maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning communityParticipate in the on-call rotation as scheduledUse and maintain your own tools in a professional mannerProvide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkersWhat We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)Valid HVAC License REQUIREDStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairsStrong troubleshooting and time-management abilitiesA personal set of basic hand toolsWillingness to work on-call as scheduledA positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a teamBilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not requiredValid Driver's License and reliable transportationImportant: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
