Perform dental hygiene procedures authorized by Florida law and delegated by a licensed dentist under the required level of supervision, including removal of calculus, plaque, accretions, and stains from exposed tooth surfaces and the gingival sulcus, and root planning or curettage when authorized and clinically indicated. RESPONSIBILTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following : Perform only those dental hygiene and remediable tasks authorized by Chapter 466, Florida Statutes, and applicable Florida Administrative Code rules, using the level of direct, indirect, or general supervision required for each duty.
