**Job Summary:** 
Join our team as a Dental Assistant I in a PEDIATRIC DENTAL OFFICE dedicated to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for children and teens during their dental visits. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and compassionate individual to provide outstanding care to our young patients and their caregivers.

**Qualifications:** 
- Experience or Dental Assisting training is A MUST! NEW GRADS WELCOME! 
- X-Ray, CDA, RDA, EFDA, or EDDA certification is a plus. 
- Graduation from a dental assisting school is a bonus. 
- Full-time role requiring 30+ hours per week. 
- State licensure/certification may be necessary depending on location.

As an essential part of our practice, you will play a key role in creating a smooth and comfortable environment for our patients, ensuring high-quality care while supporting the dentist in both clinical and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Patient Care & Comfort: Welcome and prepare patients for treatments or check-ups, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have. </li><li>Assist with Procedures: Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for dental procedures. Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry and ensure the dental room is well-prepared for each procedure. </li><li>Instrument Sterilization & Safety: Follow proper sterilization procedures and ensure that all dental instruments are sanitized in compliance with health regulations. </li><li>Lab Tasks & Post-Operative Care: Assist with lab tasks as directed and provide patients with post-operative care instructions. </li><li>Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, assisting with patient charts, treatment documentation, and payment procedures. </li><li>Scheduling & Office Support: Assist in scheduling patient appointments and ensuring the office runs smoothly with minimal disruptions. Keep the dental room clean, organized, and well-stocked. </li><li>Regulated Tasks: Perform non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing, if certified, and assist with other regulated tasks as allowed by local regulations. </li></ul>Requirements & Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting. </li><li>Certification: Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA) is required.
