Education • Preferred: Graduate from an Accredited Dental Assistant Program/School • Minimum of 1 year experience in dental assisting position • Ability to communicate in Spanish (oral and written) preferred • Must be current on all ACIP immunizations & PPD status • Must maintain BLS Certification.
The assistant will be expected to assist in four-handed dental procedures including, but not limited to, initial exams, periodontal maintenance, amalgam and composite restorations, endodontics, oral surgery, crown and bridge, and removable prosthodontics. This includes chair-side assisting, x-rays, taking alginate impressions, and screening emergency patients.
