Thus, this service provides a wide array of prosthodontic care for these patients, to include, but not limited to restorative care (direct restorations), core build-ups, post and cores, crowns, multi-unit fixed dental prostheses, implant-supported dental prostheses, complete dentures (immediate and remote), partial dentures, routine extractions, and implant placement. The Maxillofacial Prosthetic Service/Practice is within the Department of Restorative Dentistry and works with a multidisciplinary team throughout UW Medicine in management of complex oncological and trauma patients serving Washington and the surrounding Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana.
