Key responsibilities include:- Install and repair water mains, valves, fittings, clamps, sleeves, service lines, and meters- Complete routine taps, tie-ins, line flushing, backfill, and site restoration- Cut, bevel, thread, and join pipe; replace angle stops and meter boxes- Locate underground utilities (hand-digging/vac methods) and set traffic control- Operate and maintain tools/equipment (e.g., dump/boom trucks; backhoe/boring/trenching equipment as assigned)- Document work and respond to after-hours emergencies during on-call rotationRequired qualifications/skills:- High School diploma or GED- Familiarity with water distribution systems and safe work around buried utilities- Strong record-keeping and the ability to perform emergency repairs safelyIf you want meaningful impact through hands-on infrastructure work, apply today.
