Ability to analyze and resolve difficult issues and problems in supply data management, i.e., accept requests for system changes, conduct research to determine the validity of requests, refine the information provided, and prepare specifications for computer specialists to use in programming, testing, and implementing changes in automated supply systems in collaboration with computer specialists, they evaluate problems with new and modified systems, including the logical flow, input errors, interconnections among data fields and program elements within a flow of related programs, and recommend solutions to both supply and computer specialists. Works independently utilizing skills, knowledge, and abilities such as interview, use of appropriate analytical and investigative management techniques, systems and procedures analyses, forms and reports analysis, work simplifications, statistical analysis, ADP systems analysis, supply systems analysis and similar techniques in the study, development, evaluation, revision, or improvement of depot programs and procedures necessary for efficient and economical accomplishment.
