Some Duties to Include: Demonstrate and model strong technical skill including, but not limited to, venipuncture, assessing vitals, administering oral and injectable medications, post-op care and knowledge of isolation procedures, IVC placement, urinary catheter maintenance, calculations and administration of short-term infusions and CRI’s, care and use of jugular catheters, knowledge of oxygen cages and telemetry, care of tracheostomy tubes, chest tubes and arterial catheters, knowledge of blood products and parenteral nutrition, assisting with ventilator cases, and maintenance of continuous suction.
