Proficiency in blood product administration, central line blood draws, peripheral line management, phlebotomy, PICC management, IV initiation, heparin management, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and wound/wound vac care required. Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical/Pulmonary unit serving adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory distress, possible sepsis, UTI, cellulitis, change in mental status, pain, generalized weakness, and abnormal labs.
