Skills & Competencies Clinical Skills: Advanced stroke assessment and management, neurological monitoring, post-surgical care, cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessment, wound care, medication administration, IV insertion and management, N/G tube management, feeding tube management, care for dialysis patients. The patient population includes individuals with a variety of complex medical conditions such as stroke, altered mental status, renal disease (including dialysis patients), COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and other general medical-surgical diagnoses.
