We have an active cardiology group with specialists in cardiac critical care, heart failure (including pulmonary hypertension, cardiac amyloidosis, and an active LVAD program), electrophysiology, and interventional cardiologist performing complex coronaries (including CTOs), structural heart disease (mitraclips, TAVRs, and tricuspid percutaneous interventions), pulmonary embolism interventions (including catheter directed lysis, and percutaneous thrombectomy) and peripheral vascular interventions (including lysis, percutaneous peripheral and carotid stenting) who's patients all are cared for in the cardiac ICU. Common diagnoses you will manage include: cardiogenic shock, acute myocardial infarction, high risk pulmonary embolism, post cardiac arrest, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac tamponade, and complications with LVADs.
