Evaluate vehicles and/or their components and systems by accepted diagnostic methods which may include any or all of the following: test driving vehicles; using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, computerized diagnostic devices, and their experience. Knowledge of commonly used tools- Ability to recognize and use a variety of tools, including but not limited to power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, machine tools, such as lathes and grinning machines, jack sand hoists, and common hand tools.
