Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, and under general direction, the Dietitian II provides nutrition assessments, diagnosis, intervention, and education to inpatients and outpatients; assists in the development, evaluation, and revision of hospital nutrition policies and procedures; monitors for potential drug nutrient interactions; participates in patient conferences and unit rounds; plans and coordinates the preparation, distribution, and evaluation of staff meals; and plans, organizes, and evaluates the patient, staff, and public food service operations.
