The Director of Finance is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, nonprofit fund accounting, grants management, internal controls, compliance, and audit preparation. The Director of Finance provides strategic and hands-on financial leadership for Girl Scouts of Suffolk County and serves as a key financial advisor to the CEO, senior leadership team, Treasurer, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
