Responsibilities: • Grow customer loyalty while also generating new business by nurturing long-term relationships • Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies • Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business • Recruit, train, and develop your team to serve your customers better • Assess the company's success by consulting with sales managers and stakeholders Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or hospitality • Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management • Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel • Prior hotel sales experience is required Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly. Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events.
