The Child Nutrition Director is responsible for the oversight of the Child Nutrition Program on behalf of the local Board of Education and directly supervises Child Nutrition personnel including, but not limited to, supervisors, accountants/bookkeepers, data management personnel, school nutrition managers, support staff, and other school nutrition personnel. Associate's degree, or equivalent educational experience, with academic major or concentration in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant school nutrition program experience.
