p>JOB SUMMARY: This is an entry level position for extensive training in the (911) dispatch routine and qualification as a Communications Tech II; responsible for multiple activities in the emergency response process; will answer and dispatch multiple personnel in response to telephone calls regarding emergency and potentially life-threatening situations; responsible for operation of IDACS computer terminal, maintenance of records, and appropriate response to calls following set guidelines.
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: MUST be available to work any shift assigned (days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holiday coverage) This is a 24-hour operation and a 40-hour work week.
