Initiative: Shared Services Location: Warehouse (Fayetteville, Arkansas) Compensation: Annual salary range of $40,000-$60,000, based on experience and qualifications. POSITION PURPOSE The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end flow of goods from donation through processing and distribution to stores. This role ensures efficient, consistent logistical operations, maintaining accurate inventory flow, timely deliveries, warehouse set up, and alignment with store demand. By establishing clear ownership and accountability, the Warehouse Manager supports scalable operations and positions the organization for continued growth. POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Manager owns logistics and warehouse management; it also supports all processing teams and SOPs while also overseeing the logistics of transportation of all donations throughout the end to end process. This role is critical to successfully transitioning from store-level processing to a centralized warehouse model and building a scalable, efficient supply chain. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Warehouse Layout & Efficiency <ul><li>Design and maintain efficient physical flow: intake sort process stage ship </li><li>Ensure proper staging for outbound shipments </li><li>Continuously improve layout to support business goals </li><li>Oversee all storage and inventory logistics </li></ul>Processing Operations <ul><li>Oversee daily sorting, categorization, and production flow </li><li>Ensure consistent output across ~18-20 categories </li><li>Manage processing speed (crates/hour) and quality standards </li><li>Implement and refine SOPs </li></ul>Logistics & Transportation Management <ul><li>Own relationship and execution with Curri or other delivery partners </li><li>Schedule and coordinate all pickups and deliveries </li><li>Ensure loads are efficient and aligned with store demand </li><li>Troubleshoot delivery issues and adjust quickly </li><li>Evaluate courier vs. in-house vs. hybrid delivery models </li><li>Optimize routes, timing, and delivery frequency </li></ul>Team Leadership <ul><li>Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and support processors </li><li>Set clear expectations and maintain accountability </li><li>Build a strong, mission-aligned culture </li></ul>Systems & Data Tracking <ul><li>Own tracking of processing outputs beyond weight </li><li>Ensure consistent data capture (processing time, category outputs, etc.) </li><li>Track logistics performance (delivery timing, cost, fill rate) </li><li>Use data to improve efficiency and decision-making </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Experience managing people in a warehouse, production, retail backroom, or similar environment </li><li>Forklift certification (required or obtained within 30-60 days) </li><li>Ability to work in an active warehouse environment </li><li>Basic proficiency with tracking tools (Google Sheets, forms, etc.) </li><li>Comfortable working on the floor and improving operations </li><li>Demonstrated ability to bring structure to processes </li><li>Able to build and improve SOPs </li><li>Understands end-to-end operational flow (processing + logistics) </li><li>Aligns with mission and organizational culture </li><li>Ability to lift over 50 lbs </li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Previous logistics or transportation coordination experience </li><li>Experience with delivery platforms like Curri or similar </li><li>CDL (Commercial Driver's License) - strong plus, not required </li></ul>BENEFITS <ul><li>Annual Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA): We provide an annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) to align with economic changes; this is not performance-based or a bonus </li><li>Benefits eligibility: Optional medical, dental, vision, disability, and flexible spending account (FSA) plans </li><li>Life insurance: Employer-provided $50,000 policy </li><li>Paid time off: Team members receive 20 days of PTO annually, prorated based on hire date, in addition to 10 paid holidays and organizational holiday closures. Must be able to operate a stand-up reach forklift (crown). </div>Essential Functions:•Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, give job assignments to warehouse workers and line drivers and insure timely and accurate completion.•Prepare (type) bills of lading for all shipments and enter shipping data into computer•Analyze department reports to insure proper action is taken with regard to shipments and materials received.•Communicate discrepancies with shipments or materials received and problems delaying scheduled shipments with Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Management, and Customer Service.•Assist warehouse workers with truck inspections as well as loading and unloading tasks.•Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.•Adhere to Shipping and Receiving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.)•Analyze and complete reports to include: mixed rack reports, cycle counts and other related paperwork. Timely completion and documentation of a paperwork required•Provide back-up support for all shipping and receiving functions.•Train Shipping and Receiving employees.•Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.•Maintain cleanliness on line and 5S standards. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment.•Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person.
