Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor leads the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of safety and quality. This position oversees labor management, coordinates shipping processes, and ensures proper maintenance of equipment. The role also involves training staff, addressing fulfillment challenges, and supporting overall logistics efforts. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in facilitating smooth handovers between shifts and ensuring accurate documentation of procedures. 

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for overall Warehouse operation and leadership of hourly labor.</li><li>Assign/Allocate labor to process workload.</li><li>Create work plans for the entire team (3 shifts) on truckloads and LTLs in alignment with work demand.</li><li>Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy, and on-time shipping; take corrective action when necessary.</li><li>Coordinate with carriers to ensure efficient and timely outbound flow.</li><li>Ensure shipping documentation is completed on a timely basis.</li><li>Oversee proper labeling, packaging, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Establish and maintain quality standards.</li><li>Support annual physical inventory.</li><li>Ensure adequate equipment and facility maintenance.</li><li>Ensure safety rules are known and followed by the team.</li><li>Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable regulations.</li><li>Oversee four different departments (TL, LTL, FP, and Wood Area).</li><li>Oversee driver performance and request coverage on weekends as needed.</li><li>Conduct effective team member training as necessary.</li><li>Manage employee performance by providing coaching, feedback, and support for development.</li><li>Manage employees’ timecards and approve their time off.</li><li>Assist the team with supervisor training and retraining as needed.</li><li>Conduct effective daily meetings to ensure smooth transition from shift to shift.</li><li>Attend meetings as required by corporate or internal leadership.</li><li>Act as liaison between Shipping and Sales for handling fulfillment issues.</li><li>Assist and cover the Operations Manager during absences to maintain operational continuity</li><li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping and warehouse activities.</li><li>Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to shipping productivity.</li><li>Assist in documentation of procedures and associated training of staff.</li><li>Prepare documents and information for the EDGE meeting.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.</li><li>Investigate and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, or discrepancies in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure effective use of warehouse space and organization of materials for efficiency and safety</li><li>The employee must communicate clearly and ensure that all processes are thoroughly understood by team members.</li><li>Maintain records: Document shipments, inventory movements, and employee performance.</li><li>Share performance metrics, safety incidents, and operational updates with management.</li><li>Identify, analyze, and record security breaches and communicate with relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Identify, report and process defective materials.</li><li>Run various Key performance metrics reports </li><li>Leading, training, and motivating warehouse staff, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to procedures</li><li>Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse layout, processes, and workflow.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.</li><li>Manage employees’ timecards including vacation, PTO</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>100% Bilingual (English-Spanish)</li><li>3-5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience</li><li>Experience in high-volume operations</li><li>2 years of leadership experience (prior Team Leader, Supervisor) </li><li>A proven track record of continuous improvement </li><li>A solid understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehousing processes is required.</li><li>Familiarity with the ERP (Visibility) system and proficiency in using personal computers are essential.</li><li>The ability to set and work towards achieving goals is important.</li><li>Strong team building, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary.</li></ul> Work Environment and Physical Requirements<ul><li>Employees are regularly required to use hands for tasks involving fine motor skills, such as handling, feeling, or reaching with their hands.   </li><li>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Employees are occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and variances of temperature.  </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. </li></ul>

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Service & Administrative: 1. Handle high volume of phone calls and emails.2. Track orders, answer questions about shipments, answer billing questions.3. Track and maintain specifics related to what is coming in or going out of the company.4. Keep electronic and/or paper files accurate and up-to-date5. Track stock and inventory counts.6. Responsible for scheduling pick-ups and generating and confirming rate forms.7. Maintain up to date excel file with quotes from existing carriers and their COIs. 8. Responsible for RMI Reports9. Responsible for, scanning all documents, including GRPOS, naming them accordingly and filing them in their designated folder.10. Other related duties as assigned by manager.Outbound / Inbound Shipments:11. Coordinate pick-up as requested by manager.12. Examine orders arriving at the dock if needed.13. Serve as liaison with internal teams, raw material suppliers, clients and freight forwarders.14. Work with internal management to develop systems to track shipping, distribution, inventory control, and reporting for internal audits.Brokerage Logistics Domestic15. Responsible for, generating PO once request is received via-email from shipper.16. Follow up to ensure proper POD from carriers.17. Responsible for, completing GRPO after the load has arrived to final consignee.18. Responsible for, generating an email in form of communication to Shipping & Receiving Dept. and Accounting Dept. indicating the load is complete and the order needs to be closed.19. Promptly notify supply chain and customer as necessary of any delays, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions to mitigate impact on our service level20. Assist to match GRPO with supplier’s invoices.Raw Material Inventory Entry21. Responsible for completing the PO/GRPO for each load, once trailer of material arrived to Mid-west location and performing the verification of raw material as per Standard Operating Procedure.22. Responsible for reporting all empty carrier trailers in a daily basis. 23. Responsible for adding the delivery cost in SAP for all tested loads and inform Juarez’s team.24. Track RMI inventory at all times. 25. Follow up with quarterly internal audits to confirm RMI status.Consumables Logistics26. In charge of reviewing and requesting consumable purchases to ensure, corresponding stock level at all times.27. Requirements:
