<div dir="ltr">Distribution Area Manager The Distribution Center (DC) Area Manager provides daily leadership to a Regional Distribution Center (RDC). They oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of merchandise to Best Buy company stores, warehouses, home deliveries and shuttle deliveries. Using behavior-based coaching and feedback, the DC Area Manager ensures that job duties and responsibilities of team members are safely completed in a consistent, accurate, and productive manner. The DC Area Manager is responsible for coaching and developing teams to create a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement that supports our company values. Job SummaryThis position carries responsibility for the management of storeroom inventory as well as Supply and Distribution, Mailroom and Print Shop for The Guthrie Clinic.ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of three years of management or supervisory experience as well as a minimum of three years in a materials management related function (central supply, storeroom, receiving, distribution, etc.). Candidate should have a strong knowledge of inventory systems and its methodology. Must have a good knowledge/understanding of automated material management system. Must have good communication skills to deal with people in multi-disciplinary teams. Must have a strong computer background that includes working with word and spreadsheet packages.EducationThis position requires a bachelor's degree, either currently or within one year of appointment.Essential Functions<ol><li>Leads the department in the continuous improvement of the quality and productivity of supply and distribution, mailroom and print shop.</li><li>Organizes department resources to ensure that customer requirements are met.</li><li>Measures and analyzes KPI and uses the resulting information to draw conclusions, develop recommendations, implement action, and evaluate.</li><li>Prepares an annual operating budget for the department. Manages the activity of the departments within the approved budgets. Develops a plan for capital expenditures required for departments operation.</li><li>Develops the role of supervisors to achieve maximum effectiveness.</li><li>Develops the people employed by the departments through ongoing feedback, recognition, counseling and discipline on an individualized basis.</li><li>Arranges appropriate education and training for staff based on requirements and identified opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Engages in a process of professional continuous self-improvement.</li><li>Works with System Administrator for computer system operations on troubleshooting and testing.</li></ol>Other Duties<ol><li>Represents the department externally as required.</li><li>Participates in hospital committees, projects and quality improvement teams as appropriate.</li><li>Adopts a plan of personal growth and development.</li><li>Carries out other responsibilities as necessary.</li></ol>Pay Range$35.72/hr (mon) - $55.76/hr (ma) #LI- RS1About Guthrie ClinicJoining the Guthrie team allows you to become a part of a tradition of excellence in health care.
