The Registered Nurse will assess, monitor, and document on high acuity cardiac patients from neonates to adults including Congenital Heart Defect Patients, Neonatal Congenital Heart Defect Patients (Patients in NICU Cohort), Pre/Post-Cardiac Transplant Patients, Pre/Post-Op Cardiothoracic Surgery Patients, and Post-Cardiac Catheterization Patients. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
