Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance. </li><li>Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service. </li><li>Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets. </li><li>Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. </li><li>Financial Management: Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth. </li><li>Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers. </li><li>Innovation & Problem-Solving: Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations. </li><li>Additional duties and projects as required. </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team. </li><li>Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li><li>Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences. </li><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions. </li><li>Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. </li><li>Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications. </li></ul>Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Assistant Store Manager </li><li><ul><li>Open availability, including availability during the hours necessary to open and close the store, which includes mornings, days, and nights. </li><li>Minimum standard work week of 5 days. </li><li>Average standard work week of 44 hours but increased during peak sales periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to –School). </li></ul></li><li>Supervisor </li><li><ul><li>Availability during the hours necessary to open and close the store, which includes mornings, days, and nights. </li><li>Requires a minimum of 5 days of availability. </li><li>Minimum standard of a 30 hour work week. </li></ul></li><li>All Management </li><li><ul><li>Availability on weekends and holidays. </li><li>Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the company's policies are required for the position. </li><li>Must have reliable transportation. </li><li>Must speak English clearly in order to converse with customers and effectively supervise staff. </li><li>Must be able to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics in order to carry out normal business and understand corporate sales reports. </li><li>May require the ability to move to different locations within the company's network based on operational needs and career growth. </li></ul></li></ul>Physical Demands: <ul><li>Requires prolonged standing approximately five to 14 hours per day. </li><li>During peak sale periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School), will work for long periods throughout a one to 12 hour day. </li><li>Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer's feet as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks. </li><li>May be required to climb ladder or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale. </li><li>Required to lift items weighing 5 – 25 lbs regularly. In certain circumstances, weights may be higher. </li><li>Must have good vision, including color differentiation. </li><li>The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy retail setting. </li></ul>Education: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years' experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li></ul>The minimum requirements and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
