Under the clinical supervision of the Director of Addiction Medicine, the Addiction Provider is primarily responsible for the following: 1) management of intoxication and withdrawal states, 2) the initiation and monitoring of Medically Assisted Treatment, 3) the evaluation and management of addiction related medical and psychiatric problems. Provide oversight for Advanced Practice Providers including entering into a Collaborative Agreement with the Advanced Practice Provider, providing supervision, having input in the clinical review, performance appraisal, peer review and hiring and termination of providers and clinical support staff.
