Drives primarily within the confines of a military installation or under other limited driving conditions (low speeds, regular predetermined routes, etc.) Responsibilities Drives a variety of vehicles, some of which have a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds (this includes K-Loaders, step/stair trucks, passenger buses, 250 gallon water trucks, three/nine ton Hi-lift truck and various conveyors). 3. Ability to judge road/traffic conditions and read installation maps to determine the shortest and safest route, and meet pickup and delivery deadlines and schedules, while operating motor vehicles; and to judge aisles, doorways, loads and load balance, and operate controls to maneuver fork lift trucks.
