The Strategic Funding & Grants Coordinator works collaboratively with County leadership, department directors, project managers, municipal stakeholders, public safety agencies, technology personnel, financial staff, and external partners to identify funding opportunities, develop competitive grant applications, coordinate implementation activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable funding strategies for operational and capital initiatives. The Strategic Funding & Grants Coordinator serves as the County’s centralized coordinator for strategic funding development, grant acquisition, grant administration, compliance management, and interdepartmental funding coordination supporting all County departments, but with a specific focus on identifying and applying for grant opportunities supportive to the efforts of County Human Service agencies and the Department of Public Safety.
