QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree related to the subject matter and skills to be taught Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to Drafting Chapter 74 Drafting License preferred (or the ability/qualifications needed for licensure) Ability to maintain student discipline, differentiate instruction, and work with diverse populations Possess teaching experience or demonstrable teaching ability Demonstration of initiative and willingness to participate in further study as necessary Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and administrators Willingness to foster strong relationships with students and teachers Punctuality, flexibility, strong self-management, and self-initiative skills Understanding of vocational practices, procedures, expectations, and the instructional practices that will facilitate students' proficiency in their technical area.
