<h3>Description</h3><br/><div>We are looking for an experienced Geostructural Driller to join our specialty construction team. In this role, you will operate specialized drilling equipment on micropile, soil nail wall, tieback anchor, rock anchor, and grouting projects. The ideal candidate brings strong equipment knowledge, sound judgment in changing soil and rock conditions, and a leadership mindset that supports a safe, productive crew.</div><br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br/><ul><li>Work safely and comply with all company, client, and site-specific policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist in selecting the appropriate drill rig and tooling, including Comacchio, Casagrande, TEI, or similar equipment, based on project requirements and observed soil or rock conditions.</li><li>Conduct pre-operational checks on drilling equipment to confirm proper function before use.</li><li>Set up, stabilize, position, and align drill rigs at planned boring locations.</li><li>Regulate air pressure, rotary speed, feed pressure, and drilling methods based on ground conditions and project specifications.</li><li>Verify boring locations, depths, and alignments throughout drilling operations.</li><li>Monitor drilling operations by checking gauges, listening to equipment, and adjusting methods as ground conditions change.</li><li>Start, stop, and adjust drilling speed for casing installation as required by job specifications or site conditions.</li><li>Select, attach, and change drill bits and tooling as needed.</li><li>Drill in a variety of soil and rock conditions for shoring, earth retention, foundation support, and heavy civil work.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, minor part replacement, and general equipment care.</li><li>Complete required paperwork, reports, drilling logs, and other project documentation accurately and on time.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><br/><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience operating tieback, micropile, or similar specialty drilling equipment.</li><li>Hands-on drill operator experience in geostructural, geotechnical, heavy civil, or specialty foundation construction.</li><li>Working knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in heavy construction work.</li><li>Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Valid driver's license that can be maintained in good standing.</li></ul><br/><h3>Benefits</h3><br/><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage </li><li>401K with company match </li><li>PTO, holidays, and paid winter shutdown </li><li>Professional development and career growth opportunities </li></ul>

Perform drill rig and support truck maintenance- Reporting all repair and maintenance issues to the Drilling Supervisor.

What You'll Do:
<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes</li><li style="text-align:justify">Operating Geoprobe unit for the collection of soil and Cone Penetrometer (CPT) data</li><li style="text-align:justify">Locating borings in the field</li><li style="text-align:justify">Record all required drilling data</li><li style="text-align:justify">Report all project specific issues directly to the project manager and/or your supervisor</li><li style="text-align:justify">Perform drill rig and support truck maintenance- Reporting all repair and maintenance issues to the Drilling Supervisor</li><li style="text-align:justify">Troubleshoot mechanical problems including those of an electrical or hydraulic nature</li><li style="text-align:justify">Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel</li><li style="text-align:justify">Safely and accurately load drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies needed</li><li style="text-align:justify">Plan daily schedule to meet productivity goals set by Drilling Supervisor and/or Office Manager</li><li style="text-align:justify">Promptly and accurately complete time sheets and field paperwork</li><li style="text-align:justify">Care for and clean assigned company vehicles and drilling equipment and any other assigned equipment</li><li style="text-align:justify">Maintain professional behavior and quality standards</li><li style="text-align:justify">Train and mentor Drilling Helper</li><li style="text-align:justify">Willingness to work out of town and non-standard work schedules when required</li></ul>

What We're Looking For:
<ul><li><p style="margin:0px">High School diploma or GED</p></li><li><p style="margin:0px">2 – 4 years of related experience</p></li><li><p style="margin:0px">Class A CDL driver's license preferred </p></li></ul>
