Job Duties & Responsibilities: Lead People & Shape Culture Directly supervise and develop a team of fabrication employees through coaching, training, and performance management Build a positive, respectful work environment where employees feel engaged, supported, and accountable Set clear expectations related to safety, quality, productivity, and behavior Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and corrective action in partnership with HR Support employee growth through cross‑training and development planning Drive Safe, Quality Production Ensure safe and consistent production that meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing policies, addressing risks, and leading by example Utilize continuous improvement principles to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput Oversee Fabrication Operations Schedule and manage workflow within the Fabrication department to meet daily and long‑term production goals Ensure proper operation of fabrication work centers including laser cutters, brake presses, presses, saws, machining, drilling, and bending operations Support accurate CNC programming processes to ensure efficient, repeatable production Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, or process inconsistencies Manage Equipment, Materials & Processes Partner with Maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance is completed and downtime is minimized Order and manage fabrication consumables and spare parts (sheet steel, lubricants, lenses, etc.) Maintain appropriate documentation related to quality, processes, and regulatory requirements Continuously refine processes, schedules, and material flow to support changing business needs Collaborate Cross‑Functionally Work closely with Engineering, Parts, Scheduling, and Maintenance to support production priorities and expedited needs Communicate production status, challenges, and improvements clearly to leadership Job Qualifications: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication operations Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills Excellent communication skills and ability to lead on the shop floor Detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and results‑driven Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications Some college coursework 5+ years of manufacturing management experience in fabrication Experience supervising teams of 20+ employees What Can We Give You?
