Analyze severed mineral estates, split-estate issues, federal and state mineral interests, federal oil and gas leases, communitization agreements, pooling arrangements, spacing requirements, and other matters affecting the development of New Mexico oil and gas properties. Where applicable, examine title and leasing issues involving federal minerals administered by the Bureau of Land Management, New Mexico State Trust Land Office interests, and lands subject to federal, state, or other governmental leasing and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Independently prepare original drilling title opinions, supplemental and supplemental drilling opinions, division order title opinions, acquisition title opinions, and other oil and gas title opinions covering lands in New Mexico.
