Responsibilities : • Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall and interior construction projects• Complete quantity takeoffs and review drawings/specifications• Analyze project scope, labor, materials, and subcontractor/vendor pricing• Work closely with project managers, leadership, clients, and trade partners• Review bid documents, identify risks, and provide accurate pricing strategies• Participate in pre-bid meetings, project reviews, and turnover meetings• Help maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors Qualifications : • 5+ Years experience estimating commercial drywall, metal framing, ceilings, and interior systems• Strong knowledge of the New York City construction market preferred• Background working on large commercial projects such as healthcare, education, institutional, and similar markets• Experience with estimating software such as Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, BuzzBid, or similar platforms• Ability to read drawings, perform detailed takeoffs, and manage multiple bids at once• Strong communication skills and attention to detail Why This Opportunity : • Join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation in the industry• Work on large, complex commercial projects throughout the New York market• Be part of a team that values relationships, quality work, and long-term growth• Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a key estimating role If you’re an experienced drywall/interiors estimator looking for the next step in your career, this could be a great opportunity to have a conversation.
