Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Working in collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, perinatologists, genetic counselors, and multidisciplinary care teams, the MFM Sonographer performs detailed fetal and maternal imaging to support the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
