Job Title: Interventional Technologist Profession: Interventional Technologist Specialty: FS Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Entry-level position License: BLS / ACLS required Certifications: One of the required certifications includes - ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), ARDMS - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography, ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography, ARRT - Radiography, CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Must-Have: - Entry-level knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology - Ability to provide patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions - Strong communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team - Knowledge of specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques - Ability to perform quality control checks and maintenance on equipment - Capacity to maintain accurate records and work with confidential information Description: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor. This entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations.
