Performs skilled and semi-skilled grounds maintenance functions (e.g., maintain site landscaping, lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf and irrigation; utilize insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers for lawns, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spread mulch; trim trees, hedges and shrubs, and prevent and eliminate weeds; conduct basic irrigation audit and perform basic irrigation programming and repairs). Performs routine grounds maintenance and general labor (e.g., grass mowing; snow removal and ice control; weed and clean lawns and flower beds; maintain parking lots, streets, right of ways; clean restrooms; keep grounds free from trash, litter and debris; empty trash receptacles; perform minor building construction).
