The ideal candidate will be expected to teach graduate, and/or doctoral level coursework in the EDLC's programs; maintain an active program of scholarship through research, publication, and external grant seeking; foster a culture of scholarly productivity by supporting faculty research, collaborative grant development, and external funding initiatives; serve on university committees and engage in professional service activities; and provide transparent, collaborative leadership that promotes shared governance, strengthens communication across departmental programs, supports faculty development, and cultivates a collegial, student-centered culture while advancing the department's strategic priorities.
