Overall duties include:- teach 30-minute individual piano lessons- teach 45-minute individual piano lessons- teach in group settings when needed- teach theory, technique, performance, and composition- utilize exercises and games to motivate students- conduct ongoing assessments of achievements- help coordinate and support program activities- contribute towards activities, curriculum design, student/parent feedback, etc. REQUIREMENTS:- 1+ year teaching experience- 4+ years music education and/or training- college-level music education preferred; not required- proficiency in piano performance- strong understanding of music theory- a passion for working with youthHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at jenn@chsrecruiting.com or call (773) 998-1272.
