Key responsibilities include providing instruction in basic archery skills, safety procedures, and sportsmanship; supervising and managing all practices and team activities; developing and maintaining a seasonal practice and competition schedule; organizing and hosting at least one archery tournament or event annually; ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, inventoried, and safely stored; managing the program's activity account in accordance with district policies; coordinating and overseeing fundraising efforts to support the program; maintaining open communication with students, parents, administration, and staff; promoting positive behavior, teamwork, and student development; and ensuring compliance with all school, district, and NASP (if applicable) guidelines. The Middle School Archery Coach is responsible for organizing, leading, and supervising the school's archery program while fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for student participants.
