The anticipated need is to teach one combined class (undergraduate and graduate students, MUCE 4040/5040) in Music Law and Finance, to cover topics including the basics of music law, music copyright issues, contract negotiation, funding opportunities, and financial management for music businesses and ventures. They’ve earned Grammy Award nominations, toured internationally, conducted classes at the renowned Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops, and written books about jazz.
