We are searching for candidates who are enthusiastic scholar-educators, who are student-oriented, and who have a passion for teaching. The position will begin in the fall of 2026.  Relocation assistance is available. About the University of Jamestown: The University of Jamestown (UJ) is a private, liberal arts university founded in 1883, committed to providing a student-centered education that combines academic excellence with professional preparation and personal growth. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include on-campus teaching of a variety of accounting courses, depending on departmental needs and faculty interest and expertise. Courses include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Principles of Accounting</li><li>Income Tax Accounting</li><li>Intermediate Accounting</li><li>Government/Not-for-profit Accounting</li><li>Auditing</li><li>Advanced Accounting</li><li>Advise and mentor undergraduate students, including internships and career preparation</li><li>Participate in departmental, school, and university service (e.g., committee work, program development, community engagement)</li><li>Collaborate on interdisciplinary initiatives, particularly with our Master of Business Administration program</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Master’s degree in accounting or business administration.</li><li>Candidate must hold the CPA credential.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Terminal degree in accounting, business, or a related field.</li><li>Additional professional designations (CMA, CIA).</li><li>Teaching experience at the higher education level.</li><li>Significant professional experience in public or managerial accounting.</li></ul> Application Process: Provide a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three professional references.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
