Job Duties- Oversee the daily care and well-being of all horses on-site- Design feeding and care protocols along with Equestrian Director for each horse- Assist with basic farm chores including feeding, stall cleaning, turn-in and turn-out, blanketing, etc- Administer medications and medical treatments as needed - including IV/IM medications- Collaborate closely with Equestrian Director on growth and direction of the program as a whole- Mentor and Lead support staff and students in and around the barns- Manage staff schedules and digital records for staff and horses- Manage horse care budget and reporting along with Equestrian Director and Finance staff- Develop and Grow a lesson program in your preferred discipline- Prepare for each lesson by ensuring the horses are ready and the arena prepared for your unique lesson plan- Maintain tack and equipment related to your horses/students- Assist with the organization and participation of shows at the home facility and beyond.
