Qualification for Faculty with Specialized Teaching Assignments: Practicum courses such as ITP 180, 279, 281, 283, 284 and 285 require: AAS or BA in Sign Language Interpretation, Interpreter Education, Intercultural Relations, Deaf Education, Linguistics or related field. The PCC district encompasses a 1,500-square-mile area in northwest Oregon and offers two-year degrees, one-year certificate programs, short-term training, alternative education, pre-college courses and life-long learning.
