Develops and distributes a team handbook in cooperation with the varsity head coach by the first team meeting to include at least the following: practice schedule, team rules and policies, coaching philosophy statement, special dates and events, game schedule, team tryout process and criteria, lettering policy, how parents/students should communicate with head coach, and how players earn playing time. PRE-SEASON DUTIES Plans, communicates, and executes with cooperation of the head varsity coach a pre-season meeting for prospective student-athletes and their parents to communicate team schedule, policies and procedures.
