In addition to developing vocal proficiency across a wide range of contemporary styles (such as pop, R&B, gospel, country, stringer-songwriter, and related commercial music genres), the instructor is expected to introduce students to a substantial and diverse repertoire while providing practical instruction in musicianship, vocal technique, and professional performance practices. The Vermont State University Music Business and Industry (MBI) Program on the Lyndon campus, within the Department of Art, Media, and Music Industries, seeks an accomplished vocalist with strong teaching and performance experience to teach applied voice beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.
