Position Key Accountabilities:Conduct independent and collaborative research in cancer prevention and controlDesign and implement quantitative and/or qualitative studiesAnalyze and interpret data using appropriate statistical or mixed-methods approachesPrepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific meetingsDevelop and submit at least one external grant or fellowship applicationParticipate in interdisciplinary research teams and collaborative projectsEngage in program seminars focused on proposal writing, publication, and career developmentContribute to mentoring graduate students and trainees as appropriateOther job duties as requiredMinimum Education:Doctoral/Terminal DegreePreferred:PhD, DrPH, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree in:Public healthEpidemiologyHealth promotion/behavioral sciencesBiostatistics or data scienceHealth services research, policy, or related fieldPhysical Requirements:Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
