Faculty Physician, Thoracic, Head & Neck Oregon Health & Science UniversityFaculty Physician, Thoracic, Head & NeckPortland, ORThe duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; care of patients with lung cancer; establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of lung cancer; participate in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head. The Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology currently has over 110 faculty and is comprised of programs in general hematology, solid tumor oncology, bone marrow transplant & cellular therapy, hematological malignancies, and palliative medicine.
