Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice Required. The MA will assist with patient rooming, medication injections, ultrasound guided injections, vaccine administration, along with chart prepping, patient phone calls, patient MyChart messages, electronic faxes, medication authorizations, and quality assurance tasks.
